At Carolina Family Healthcare, we provide many services. Below are some of our premiere Ballantyne location services.
Preventive Services
We offer a wide array of preventive services including annual wellness exams, gynecological exams, well child care and developmental evaluations, immunizations and counseling, vison and baseline hearing screenings, glaucoma screenings, and depression screenings.
Lab Testing
For your convenience, we have a dedicated phlebotomist for daily blood draws. We bill BCBS and United Healthcare for most routine lab work, and the laboratory bills your insurance directly for all other insurances including Medicare.
Cardiac Risk Screening
Because research shows that traditional lipid testing often fails to detect cardiovascular disease in its early stages, we offer testing beyond the conventional lipid panel. These tests include non-traditional lipids, lipoproteins, inflammation, genetic variants, and more. These tests enable earlier disease detection and more targeted treatment to help prevent heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events.
Integrative Medicine
Integrative Medicine is a healing oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapies. Integrative medicine gets to the root of the problem by treating the whole person rather than just treating the symptoms in traditional medicine.
Weight Loss Clinic
Our weight loss plans incorporate all aspects of care to help you reach your goals. We have a licensed professional counselor to address any eating disorders, along with dieticians, personal trainers and medical providers to help you learn to eat smarter and exercise more effectively.
Allergy Clinic
We perform on-site testing for 48 environmental allergens and 34 foods. For your convenience, you can schedule allergy shots during regular business hours.
Sleep Center
Our full service sleep center offers home sleep testing, in-lab sleep studies, and consultations with a Board Certified sleep medicine physician. We also set-up your CPAP equipment and monitor your progress.
CoolSculpting
Need to lose those stubborn pockets of fat? Our trained CoolSculpting technician can assess you during your office visit to determine if CoolSculpting is an option for you.
